FRAG Philippines (Cagayan de Oro) and the 4th Infantry Division Philippine Army (4ID) exchanged airsoft bb’s last Sunday, June 07, 2009 at Camp Evangelista, Cagayan de Oro City. Simulated games such as Search and Destroy and Attack/Defend scenarios were applied. The Philippine Army is now thinking about higher end military training using airsoft guns. Scenarios dealing with sociopaths, terrorists, kidnappings or any other high end thinking situations. Situations like these demand a realistic training environment, where real people pretend to be the offenders or kidnapped parties, while the training officers have to move and think through the scenario.
ABS-CBN's Che Verendia and FRAG President Bobby Ludeña
From airsoft gaming to community service, FRAG Dublin, Ireland sent more than 20 boxes of assorted goods to the flood victims of Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. Thousands of families were displaced and crops and properties worth millions of pesos damaged when floods caused by incessant rains hit the region last January 2009. Cagayan de Oro’s Force Recon Airsoft Group President Bobby Ludeña delivered the goods through ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya, who were covering the disaster and at the same time, bringing relief to the people affected. A “big” thank you to our brothers in Ireland.

The system of this gun is very similar to Tanaka Gas rifles, gas tank is located inside the mag, and the firing pin is located inside the bolt. Estimated weight and price is 9.0kg at US$ 700-800. Check ARES Airsoft for more details.
The Systema Revolution gearbox is now out for sale. This new and awesome gearbox mimics the V2 on the outside so it can be used with the common AEG, but an entirely different heart is beating on the inside. Note the extra beefy walls of this near gearbox, which is designed to withstand high powered springs for mind-blowing power levels unseen in traditional Marui-type guns.
As with the traditional full gearbox upgrades from Systema, don’t expect any issues using this with G&P and Classic Army receivers. ICS will not be compatible, due to the split design and modified receiver dimensions. Price range from $400-500.
